Maxforce Side Effects: What You Might Notice
Maxforce side effects come from its ingredients, and most are mild.
These include stomach upset, headache or jitters from the 5 mg of caffeine. Ask a doctor first if you take nitrates or blood-pressure drugs, and stop if anything feels wrong.
Maxforce side effects: the short answer
Mostly mild. A few rare risks are worth knowing.

No safety study of Maxforce itself has been published. So the side-effect picture comes from its nine ingredients. Most men who react will notice something mild, such as stomach upset or jitters.
The rarer risks are more serious. They include a blood-pressure drop with some medicines, heart rhythm changes and liver injury.

Stomach upset, sugar and sorbitol in Maxforce
Small amounts, but worth knowing.
An upset stomach is the most common complaint with gummy supplements. In Maxforce, three things could play a part: sugar, sorbitol and horny goat weed.
Each gummy has 3 g of added sugar. That is about 8% of the 36 g daily limit the American Heart Association suggests for men (AHA, How Much Sugar Is Too Much?, 2026). It is small, but it counts on a sugar-limited diet.
Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol that can loosen stools in large amounts. FDA requires a laxative warning only when daily intake could reach 50 g (21 CFR 184.1835 (sorbitol)). Total carbohydrate in a gummy is 3 g, so its sorbitol is far below that.

Caffeine side effects in Maxforce
Small, but not caffeine-free.
Each Maxforce gummy lists 5 mg of caffeine plus green tea extract. The sales page does not mention caffeine, but the jar does.
Five milligrams is about 1.25% of the 400 mg a day that FDA says is not generally linked to harm in healthy adults (FDA, Caffeine). Sensitivity varies, though. A few men feel even small amounts.
Possible signs are jitters, a faster heartbeat or trouble sleeping. Take the gummy in the morning, and count it with coffee, tea, energy drinks and pre-workout.
Can Maxforce lower blood pressure? Arginine and nitrates
The most important medicine check.
L-arginine can lower blood pressure. Because of that, combining it with blood-pressure medicine may not be safe (MSK About Herbs, Arginine, 2022). The amount in Maxforce is not published, but it is part of an 82 mg blend.
Nitrates for chest pain also lower pressure. Many ED medicines are unsafe with nitrates (Mayo Clinic, ED and heart disease, 2026). After a heart attack, arginine may raise the risk of death (MSK About Herbs, Arginine, 2022).
Signs of low blood pressure include dizziness, light-headedness and fainting. Sit or lie down, and get help if they are strong.
Heart rhythm cautions: horny goat weed and tribulus in Maxforce
Rare, but stop at once if it happens.
Two Maxforce ingredients are missing from the sales page but listed on the label: horny goat weed and tribulus. Both have heart-related reports.
Horny goat weed has been linked to chest pain, shortness of breath and rapid, irregular heartbeat (OPSS, Horny goat weed, 2024). Experts advise avoiding it with heart disease (MSKCC Epimedium, 2023). Tribulus has been linked to a raised heart rate above 1,000 mg a day (OPSS Tribulus, 2024).
Read the tribulus and epimedium page for the full research.
Is Maxforce safe for the liver?
Rare, slow to show, important to spot.
For most men, liver problems are unlikely. But two ingredients in Maxforce have rare liver-injury reports.
Ashwagandha is a "likely cause" of clinically apparent liver injury. It usually appears 2 to 12 weeks after starting, with jaundice and itching. Most cases resolve 1 to 4 months after stopping (LiverTox, Ashwagandha, 2024).
Concentrated green tea extract is a well-established cause of liver injury (LiverTox, Green tea). Its amount in Maxforce is not published and is at most part of 82 mg.

Maxforce and the thyroid
An ashwagandha question for your doctor.
Ashwagandha can affect thyroid levels and may interact with thyroid medicine (NIH ODS Ashwagandha, 2025). A case of thyrotoxicosis, an overactive thyroid state, has been reported (LiverTox, Ashwagandha, 2024).
If you take levothyroxine or have a thyroid condition, ask your doctor first. Watch for a racing heart, heat intolerance, shakiness or weight loss without trying.
Men with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer are advised by some experts to avoid ashwagandha (NIH ODS Ashwagandha, 2025). Maca may interfere with testosterone blood tests (MSK About Herbs, Maca, 2023), so tell your doctor before any hormone test.
Are male enhancement gummies safe? The hidden-drug problem
A category-wide risk, not a Maxforce finding.
This is the biggest risk in the whole category. FDA flagged 776 adulterated supplements, and 353 of them (45.5%) were sold for sexual enhancement. Sildenafil was found in 166 of those (Tucker et al., 2018).
Hidden ED drugs can interact with nitrates and drop blood pressure to dangerous levels (FDA public notification, 2021). Horny goat weed products have been found with hidden tadalafil, sildenafil or avanafil (OPSS, Horny goat weed, 2024).
The Maxforce label lists no drug. But no independent lab test of Maxforce has been published yet. Look-alike pages also sell products under similar names.

Maxforce side effects: common questions
What are the side effects of Maxforce gummies?
No safety study of Maxforce itself has been published, so possible side effects come from its ingredients. The most likely are mild: stomach upset, headache or jitters. Rarer risks include a blood-pressure drop with some medicines, heart rhythm changes and liver injury.
Are male enhancement gummies safe?
Some are, and some are not. FDA has found hidden prescription drugs in many sexual-enhancement supplements. Buy only through the real checkout, read the full label and ask your doctor if you take any medicine.
Max Force capsule side effects: are the gummies different?
Maxforce is sold as gummies, not capsules. The ingredients drive side effects, whatever the form. The gummies add 3 g of sugar and a little sorbitol, which capsules usually do not.
Can Maxforce lower blood pressure?
It might, in some men. L-arginine can lower blood pressure, so combining it with blood-pressure medicine or nitrates may not be safe. Ask your doctor first.
Is Maxforce bad for your liver?
Liver injury is rare, but two ingredients have reports. Ashwagandha is a likely cause of liver injury in rare cases, and concentrated green tea extract is a known cause. Stop and see a doctor if you notice yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or itching.
Does Maxforce cause headaches?
No headache data exist for the product. A headache can come from caffeine, a blood-pressure drop or simply a new routine. If it keeps happening, stop and talk to your doctor.
Can Maxforce cause a fast heartbeat?
It is possible. Horny goat weed has been linked to rapid, irregular heartbeat, and caffeine is a stimulant. Stop at once and get medical help if you have chest pain or a racing heart.
Does Maxforce contain hidden drugs?
The label lists none, and nothing suggests it does. But no independent lab test of Maxforce has been published, so that cannot be confirmed. Buy only through the real checkout.
Can I take Maxforce with alcohol?
The label does not mention alcohol. Alcohol can lower blood pressure and is itself a common cause of ED. Keep drinking moderate, and take extra care if you also use blood-pressure medicine.
How do I report a side effect from Maxforce?
Stop taking it and tell your doctor. You can report the reaction to FDA through its Safety Reporting Portal. Keep the jar so you can give the lot number.
